Mohammad Ali Nematbakhsh

Mohammad Ali Nematbakhsh is a full professor in the software engineering department at the University of Isfahan. He received his BSc in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University, USA, in 1981, and his MSc and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Arizona, USA, in 1983 and 1987, respectively. He worked for Micro Advanced Co. and Toshiba Corporation for many years before joining the University of Isfahan. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed research papers, several U.S. registered patents, and two database books that are widely used in universities. His main research interests include intelligent Web and big data technology.

Ahmad Baraani received the B.Sc. degree in Statistics and Computing Machines, Ferdowsi University, Mashhad, Iran, and his MSc in Computer Science, George Washington University, Washington D.C., USA. He received his Ph.D. in computer science, the University of Wollongong, Wollongong, N.S.W, Australia. Currently, Ahmad Baraani is a Professor of the Department of Software Engineering in the Faculty of Computer Engineering, University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran. His research interest includes Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Information Security, Database Security, and Databases.

Afsaneh Fatemi

Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan.

Afsaneh Fatemi received her B.Sc. from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 1995, and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran in 2001 and 2012, all in Computer Software Engineering. She joined the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan in 2013, as an assistant professor. She is now the head of the department of software engineering and has been a member of the UI Big Data research group since 2018. Her main research interests lie in the fields of Complex Networks, Question Answering Systems, and Big Data.

Reza Ramezani

Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan.

Reza Ramezani has received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from Shiraz Faculty of Engineering and Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Since 2014, he collaborates with the Departamento de Computadores y Automatica (DACyA), at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Madrid, Spain. He received the degree of Ph.D. of Software Engineering from the Department of Computer Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), Mashhad, Iran in Jan 2017. Reza is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Software Engineering, University of Isfahan (UI), Isfahan, Iran. His main research area includes natural language processing, data mining, and semantic web.

Zahra Zojaji

Zahra Zojaji received her B.Sc. in (Software) Computer Engineering from the University of Isfahan, in 2008, she received her M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Isfahan, in 2010, and she received her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Amirkabir University of Technology, in 2017. Currently, she is a faculty member of the Department of Software Engineering, University of Isfahan, Iran. her main research interest is Social Media Mining and Datamining.

Arefeh Kazemi

Arefeh Kazemi is an assistant professor in the Computational Linguistics group at the University of Isfahan. She received her B.Sc. degree in software engineering and an M.Sc. degree in artificial intelligence from the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in the artificial intelligence field from the University of Isfahan in 2017. She was a visiting researcher at the ADAPT center, Ireland, during 2014-2015. Her main areas of research interest include Natural Language Processing (Machine Translation, Question Answering, Sentiment Analysis), Computational Linguistics, and Data Mining.
